How does an i3BOARD work?

    • An i3BOARD is connected to a PC or laptop via a USB cable. This requires no additional power since power comes directly from the computer through the USB connection. When you turn on your computer the board automatically starts. By connecting your computer to a projector you can project the computer image onto the i3BOARD. You must be connected to your computer for the i3BOARD to work. Touch recognition (driver installed From Windows 7) can work without drivers, but we always recommend to install them.

      Download the i3BOARD Drivers.

You can use a pen or finger to write, draw, and work with content on the board. There are no special tools or specific settings required. Students can start working immediately on the i3BOARD.

I’m not able to able to open my apps because of a resolution problem. How to solve (Windows 8)?

1. Run Regedit
From the Windows 8 Start Screen, just start typing “regedit” without the quotes.

open apps

The Registry editor appear on the left side of the screen. Tap it to launch regedit.

2. Adjust the Display1_DownScalingSupported setting
Hit the Ctrl+F keys on your keyboard to bring up a search box, and search for “Display1_DownScalingSupported” without the quotes.

Once your computer finds that entry, double-click it to bring up a box that should have a 0 in it. Change that number to a 1 and then click OK to close the box.

open apps

Now hit F3 to search for any additional instances of the Display1_DownScalingSupported setting and change those form 0 to 1 as well. On my system there were two entries. Once you’re done, go ahead and exit the regedit program.

3. Reboot your computer
